AntiGravity® Techniques involve a hybrid approach to fitness combining elements from yoga, dance, gymnastics, aerial acrobatics, Pilates, calisthenics exercise, strength training, and stretching as well as basic to advanced flips & tricks.


What will you learn?

The training is very extensive and thorough. From the AntiGravity® Fitness philosophy to the exact sequencing and progressions, to the maintenance of the hammock, to how to structure a class, you will be given everything you need to know in order to teach classes.  

Where to begin

While performing, Christopher discovered that acrobatics, had disappeared from contemporary entertainment and the cultural landscape in America. In an effort to fill the gap, Christopher created AntiGravity as a hybrid of: artistic sports, performing arts, circus acrobatics, aerials, contemporary dance and hip hop, to embody a philosophy that nurtures creativity and emphasizes the joy of movement. In 1991, AntiGravity emerged to become America's premier aerial acrobatic entertainment and suspension fitness company. 

As the inventor of Suspension Fitness and the Aerial Yoga genres, Christopher Harrison has authored 8 groundbreaking fitness and wellness techniques, which are practiced in over 50 countries.

Step One: AG Fundamentals 1 & 2

Step one is to be trained in AG Fundamentals 1&2. This is a total of four (4) days with two days for AG Fundamentals 1 and two days for AG Fundamentals 2. 

AG Aerial Yoga 1&2

Embolden your AG Aerial Yoga knowledge base and discover your own potentials with over 50 challenging new asanas, flying asanas and vinyasa variations on the AG Hammock. 

AG Suspension Fitness 1&2

If you want to continue your training in suspension fitness, this is the course for you!

AG Kids (Just Kids)

It is a child’s inherent nature to laugh, swing, spin, climb, flip and play. When a child plays the spirit soars. 

AG Restorative Yoga

This method focuses the mind through powerful visualizations as it floats the body through a series of gentle gyro-kinetic motions, deeply opening the entire spine, hips, and connective tissues of the body. 

AG AirBarre

This extensive aerial dance program is, the newest aerial fitness technique.

AG Pilates

This certified technique allows practitioners to perform Classical and Contemporary Pilates exercises from the Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, and Ladder Barrel - all on the AG Hammock!

Prior to training registration 

  • Understand and adhere to all "Contraindications".
  • Understand full participation of ALL training days is required.


  • Must speak, read and write English confidently.
  • Must be computer literate and internet proficient.
  • Must carry a current first-aid certification.

Swet Studio® 75-Hour Apprenticeship program

Trainees who wish to refine their teaching style (upon satisfying all graduation requirements) are encouraged to apply.


Upon satisfying all graduation requirements, trainees who wish to refine their teaching style are encouraged to continue study with an additional SwetStudio® 75-Hour Apprenticeship (SSA). The Swet Studio's Apprenticeship program provides a framework for teachers to strengthen their teaching voice, clarify their cueing, gain practical experience in class assisting & teaching students, and receive feedback from an experienced mentor.
