GET TO KNOW THE TEAM

At Swet Studio, we understand that no two bodies are alike.

While Bonnie is a Boston native with a passion for all things fitness, her journey into the world of aerial arts was a bit of a happy accident. Back in 2022 while living in Hong Kong, she stumbled upon an aerial class and was instantly captivated by the grace and elegance of this unique workout. From that moment on, she was hooked. She loved this newfound passion so much that she started renting out studios in Hong Kong to teach her friends 1-on-1 sessions for free.

Bonnie officially earned her aerial instructor certification in Singapore, under the Integrated Training Institute. Her classes focus on core foundations of proper body alignment, stretching, and mobility work to prepare the body for the demands of aerial training.  And a big traveler, she makes it a point to seek out aerial classes wherever she goes to expand her skills and experience new styles to integrate into her classes.

But Bonnie's fitness pursuits don't stop there. When she's not hanging upside down in the hammocks, you can find her pushing her limits in a wide variety of other activities - strength training, Muay Thai, swimming, running, wake-surfing, and many more.

So be sure to check out her class schedule and let her show you the ropes of beginning your aerial journey!

Phlips, the newest member of the Swet Studio Staff, is a man immersed in multiple different disciplines. As he is concluding his graduate education at Simmons University to get his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, he also started to pursue his passion of yoga on the side.

Phlips began his Certified Yoga Teacher Training in his final year of grad school shortly before he started volunteering at Swet Studio. This quickly turned into teaching as he wanted to pursue a more practical role, and use not only his teachings from his journey to becoming a Yoga Instructor, but also integrating his knowledge of the human body from his DPT curriculum as well.

Aside from his main occupations, Phlips has many side hobbies. On his more active side, he enjoys traveling and working out; while on his more mellow side he enjoys reading and listening to music. Phlips is always up to try new things and meet new people so feel free to get to know him when taking his classes!
