Swet Pride Celebration
It is June, and we all know what that means: it is time to be proud!
Saturday marks the 46th annual Boston Pride Parade. The event had come a long way from 1971 when 300 brave people marched through the city to read a political declaration at the State House and the Boston Police Station steps. With such history in mind,
Swet Studio is excited to be participating in this year’s Boston Pride Parade.
We have three #wickedFabulous events planned. Net proceeds will be
donated to Mass Equality Education Fund.
1. Hip Hop “Booty Shaking” Yoga.
Thursday, June 9th, at 6:30 P.M, Swet Studio™ will host Hip Hop “Booty Shaking” Yoga, with Boston’s “Best DJ” herself, DJ LeahV. She’s won the Improper Bostonian Awards, won the Boston Nightlife Awards, not to mention countless others, and she will be in the house, kicking out booming bass to get your booty shaking seamlessly in sync with Kaitlin’s yoga instruction. Registration is FREE. Open NOW.
2. “Outer Space” Aerial Yoga and Fitness.
Saturday, June 11th, 9:45-11:00 AM, Swet Studio will be offering “Outer Space” aerial yoga and fitness classes, where participants will be tethered in the air in a floating silk hammock and learning the inversions of Swet Studio's aerial yoga. The best outer space costume wins a prize!
The FREE Registration list for these special classes is Open NOW. We expect space to fill up quickly. If you would like to participate, please
3. The Boston Pride Parade.
The Pride Parade this Saturday starts at noon, and you should look for Swet Studio's Flying Aerial Alien on the Floats. The first person to post a picture on their Facebook Page, with the caption "Swet Studio is Out of this World," wins a prize.
